A local charitable organisation set up to help parents create memories with their children, and to provide support to people in need, Freya’s Wish, has been gifted a 20ft storage container from investment company, The Carling Group.
Freya’s Wish, which was set up by Brooke Reid in memory of her daughter Freya Skene, who died in July 2020 at the age of seven, has since helped other families in need of support.
The Carling Group, an international family investment organisation, founded by Scottish entrepreneurs Leanne and Graeme Carling, got in touch with the team at Freya’s Wish to offer the storage container at the end of last year.
Speaking of the donation, Fraser Kirk of The Carling Group, commented; “We loves supporting ambitious people and projects, and we wanted to reach out to Brooke after learning more about Freya’s Wish and her hopes of helping others. We are delighted to be able to team up with local organisations and wish Brooke and the team all the best for the future.”
Freya’s Wish Founder, Brooke Reid added; “We’ve helped loads of people since setting up Freya’s Wish and the support of local people and businesses is essential to allowing us to keep helping even more families across Dundee. We are very grateful to the people at The Carling Group and will put the storage container to great use.”
