Riverside 2011’s kick off new season with new shirt sponsorship deal
International sports investment group, Carling Sport, has continued its commitment to supporting local sport by penning a new sponsorship agreement with youth football team, Riverside 2011’s.
Carling Sport, a subsidiary of The Carling Group, the family investment office of local entrepreneurs, Graeme and Leanne Carling, that donated over £20,000 worth of storage facilities to local sports teams earlier in the year has continued its philanthropic drive through the City’s football system.
Carling Sport has a long history of supporting grass-roots sport, currently sponsors the Midlands Amateur Football Association, a partnership which spans a decade, and has a history of sponsoring local sporting events and individuals. This shirt sponsorship agreement is the latest in a long commitment to giving to the local sporting community across Tayside.
Carling Sport Commercial Manager, Marc Stanton commented; “Carling Sport invest in sporting talent at all levels. Not only do we invest in professional teams, but commit to support youth and amateur athletes, plugging a funding gap where traditionally it has been difficult to raise money. We work with athletes all over the World and are always looking for the next superstar who needs a bit of support on the commercial stuff.”
Riverside 2011 representative, Gavin Maxwell added; “We want our young players to have the right kits and facilities to help them reach their potential, and that often relies on the generosity of organisations like Carling Sport. We thank the team at Carling Sport for their kind donation, and look forward to proudly wearing our new strips throughout the season.”
